Jamie Colby
Colby is an anchor, National News Correspondent, and anchor in Fox News. He has been employed by the company since July 2003. Prior to the move to FOX News Channel, Colby worked as a correspondent at CNN and was anchor and reporter for CBS News as well as a anchors filling in of CBS' Up to the Minute. She was also an anchor for WPIX/WB-11 New York, a reporter at WNYW FOX 5 New York, and a correspondent/co-anchor on FOX News' WebMD TV. Colby is admitted as a lawyer in New York City, California, Florida, and Washington, D.C. Colby has been awarded such awards like The Edward R. Murrow National Award in 2002 for her coverage of the September 11 attacks, the Gracie Award for investigative reporting in 2000, and in 2000, the Clarion Award from the Association for Women in Communications. Television Week also named her a "Rising News-Show Star to Be Watching". Aside from her journalism career, Colby, an attorney, served in private practice for 10 years. Colby's law firm began when she was a Hollywood production company assigned her The Tonight Show. Colby was a co-host with Johnny Carson at the age of 22 throughout the renewal of his contract as well as his divorce from NBC. Colby hosts and reporter of Strange Inheritance, a show on Fox Business, covering quirky or surprising legacy left behind by family or friends.
